Inspiring Those Who Inspire Me

I was recently surprised and honored to be recognized with the Inspiration Award at the Women's Networking Alliance (WNA) Bravo Awards.
This award is given to the member whose actions clearly inspire the group to grow by providing and recommending ideas, lessons, and educational opportunities. It’s voted on by my fellow chapter members.
It’s both thrilling and humbling to realize that this group of tremendously accomplished women find me inspirational. My WNA chapter has been instrumental in helping me to transition from thinking of myself as “just a coach” to recognizing myself as an entrepreneur who’s running a growing business.
I joined WNA because of the amazing businesswomen whom I met. They encourage and challenge me to keep learning and growing every time we meet with their knowledge, experience, warmth and humor. They supported me when I stepped up just two months after joining to take a board position and have continued to support me and to be a source of inspiration for me.
I’m now in my second year with WNA and serving as a vice president for my chapter. The sense of community, deepening relationships, and understanding that by helping other businesswomen I’m also helping myself continues to strengthen my capabilities and confidence.
If you're a woman business owner looking for a community that genuinely has your back, WNA is worth checking out.
